Porcelain Enameled Cloisonné: Bijoux Solitaire Collection
Cloisonne is a time-honored technique of decorating metalwork objects using vitreous enamel, cut gemstones, glass, and other materials. In ancient times, cloisonne decorations were used as clothing embellishments and even weaponry!
The painstaking process to make cloisonne embellishments begins by soldering silver or gold wires or thin metallic strips into small compartments. These compartments are then filled with colorful and decorative enamel or gemstone and glass inlays, which are then fired in a kiln under extreme temperatures.
Single Bead Small collection chooses one 14mm vintage cloisonne bead combining with colored leather cords to bring an unique look.
